You Need To Think About this

If you woke you this morning with more health than illness, you are more

blessed than the million who will not survive this week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of

imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation, you are

ahead of 500 million people in the world.

If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest,

torture, or death, you are more blessed than

three billion people in the world.

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead,

and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish

someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are alive and married, you are very rare.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful,

you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

Why Utah is Incredible

I apologize for those of you who don't live in Utah, because you're truly missing out. The purple mountains, the Great Salt Lake, the rivers, the southern desert. You can't even comprehend. This right here is a map of a bike ride. IT IS AMAZING. My watch can graph this. I've also hiked this same trail. Its called the Wasatch Crest Trail. Its amazing. It gets you so high in the air. You can see the valley west of the Wasatch Mountain Range (Salt Lake Valley) and the valley east of the mountains (Midway County). Its so awesome. And at the top of the crest you look down into Park City Skiing Resort which is in Midway County, Alta and Snowbird which are in Salt Lake County. Incredible!! Also, you pass through Desolation lake, which I'll show you in a couple posts. Its so pretty. Hardly anyone goes up there. And I can't explain it anymore in this post. To be continued.......

Green, More Than a Color

The color green, is much more than a color. Its a lifestyle. One becomes green. This blog is designed to inspire and teach you to become green. Because this earth has a problem. The human race is ruining this planet that we live on. Through global warming, electricity, cars, and other reasons; the world is running out of resources. We need to change the way we live. If you care about this planet, you will change. I hope I can help you change!

Let's start with this photo. This was taken at Antelope Point, Lake Powell, Paige Arizona. I go to Lake Powell every summer and its truly beautiful! The red rock cliffs! The natural waterfalls after it rains, the plethora of fish, and the exotic birds and bugs. Surely one of my favorite places on this planet.

But we have an issue. The water is starting to lower every year. This once wonderful lake is starting to fade. I feel like we can stop this in general. We just need to realize that green is more than a color.
